Too bad it's turned into a money-making scam.

Watching from India. Popular subject here. Very costly for a middle income group. They say the materials are to be imported.
Thank u, much needed vid
I would like to know the rates
I am a diesel mechanic, I have never went to school for dentistry, but it stands to reason , What I recommend doing is before you start any procedures, is take you a blunt periodontal probe. Put it under the gum next to the tooth and actually measure how far it goes. Without damaging or detaching any tissue before you start any procedures so you know how deep you need to go so you don’t get into the tissues that can cause inflammation . This is the only way to know how deep you can go depending on the patient’s anatomy .
Love your informative videos! What do you think of Swiss Dental Solutions ( SDS ) and Ceraroot? I'm in Austin TX and it seems no one is confident using Zerconia even though they offer them. So weird!
*Promosm* ✌️
😭
Great information!!! Very eye opening! Thank you!! ❤
But our concern that food will come back in that pockets
Food will you’re right, but your gums will stay healthy if you brush 2x times a day & floss once a day to remove the plaque. If you don’t remove the plaque then it turns into tartar. If you don’t implement good hygiene then the tarter will make the condition worse. Also the treatment recommended for periodontal disease is generally come back every 6 months for a special type cleaning that is very expensive. Better to prevent this condition with good hygiene
Thankyou
good ideas... I'm getting used to a lateral incisor temp and it's hard getting it out
wish upload new videos for the doctor
thank you for sharing. but what was the rationale for the splinted crowns instead of single ones?
Thanks alot
Frank spear can you take mine off and fix it , then put it back on correctly for me ? Where can I see you at?

great video Dr Spear. If you use stone to cast up the alginate/rubber impression of the preps, then how do u remove the protemp garant from it , as the stone won't flex ? thanks very much
I am a machining practitioner with more than 50 Swiss automatic lathes and have been working on the production of dental implants, including covering screws, healing abutments, one-piece abutments, split abutments, laboratory instruments for abutment levels , tool for taking impression parts, laboratory equipment for implant level, angle abutment, bolt-retained abutment, retainer, spherical abutment, etc.Looking forward to working with you. Courage from China.
You said this was a temp crown? I've got a permanent one that I want out. I'm thinking it may be causing some pretty bad facial pain I'm having. I'm not ready to have any teeth extracted yet. I'm only 30. But in all honesty how many endodontists or dentists are patient enough with their patients to be this cool and say hey it might work it might now without damaging the crown etc... ya know? I'd gladly pay for a new crown. Just want the old one out without getting that tooth extracted. Noway
Hi Dr. Spear, 4th year dental student here. thank you for this informational video. Question ~ why is tissue likely to recede upon placing a margin 1/2 the depth of the sulcus in tooth with probing depths >1.5mm? Amirali
CAN U USE THEM TO WHOLE DOWN DENTURES ON GUMS?
Amazing thank you doc!
it should be noted that cement does not directly cause peri-implantitis, but rather the exposure of gum tissue to cement does, this is caused by incisions or lesions just prior to cementation. if the gum has healed well and a healing abutment was used then incisions may be prevented, avoiding overfilling the dental crown or bridgework with cement will also prevent it from seeping into the periodontal space and cause peri-implantitis. in contrast, the screw abutment system has a very high chance for failure due to the weakness of the tiny screws holding the crown or bridgework, we've had many patients complain about this kind of scenario but cant do anything to help them since often times part of the screw is stuck inside the abutment, making it impossible to retrieve without a special kit. said special kit is actually very rare and i've only ever seen it once in a dental convention in 2019.
Very informative
great video
Advice for beginner: just worry about what you need to do clinically, leave the rest to the lab to sort out. With time, the abutment cobweb will demystify itself.
